All products are individually hand made and the fabrics woven on traditional looms by adult skilled staff. (We are pro-child education and against any exploitation of children, our factory guarantees that no child labour is utilised in any of the manufacturing process)

All of our wooden spreader bars are sourced from rubber trees, which are operated
under sustainable forest management systems.

Fair trade production is defined as an organized social movement and market-based approach that aims to help producers in developing countries obtain better trading conditions and promote sustainability. The movement advocates the payment of a higher price to producers as well as social and environmental
standards. It focuses in particular on exports from developing countries to developed countries, most notably handicrafts, coffee, cocoa, sugar, tea, bananas, honey, cotton, wine, fresh fruit, chocolate, flowers and gold.
Our factory for Chill-Chair / Hammock production operates under Fair Trade policies as listed below.
All our wood comes from sustainable Rubber wood production . All the cotton is 100% Cotton we do not use other synthetic materials only 100% cotton cultivated and spun locally by local villagers continuing the craft . Nothing is imported or sourced from factories utilising modern machinery production methods in the production of our products.
The terms handwoven and handmade apply because in the factory all the weaving is done on traditional looms by hand. Equally all assembly is completed by hand ..This work gives employment to many local villagers who take pride in continuing their traditional craft. This is also vital to the community in areas of high
unemployment. Our factory provides excellent working conditions for the staff but utilises traditional production techniques . All production is environmentally controlled .
Our company is against child labour and promotes Child education, an environmentally sound production.
